Let me explain it this way: When you enter a showroom, you’re always greeted by a representative who would engage you and give you the best response to your queries. That “One to One Engagement“ is what we call Content Exchange in between you and the representative.
Web platforms, too have a similar impact, as if your company’s representative is literally engaging with the users online (in fact multiple users at the same time).
But, to make a CONTENT ENGAGE well with the audience, you also need to make sure that the content page is well designed and it is easy & quick to access.
So, to make that ENGAGEMENT possible, you got to follow the below parameters to make sure your content is superb at communicating with USERS online.
Follow the KISS formula.
KEEP.IT.SIMPLE and SHORT. Is what THE K.I.S.S FORMULA, Keeping it simple and short makes it really easy for your users to consume the content as it becomes less complex for your users to Identify what is it that you’re offering. When I say Keep it Short and Simple doesn’t mean you make the content shorter without giving out
Diversify Content On Landing Page
Add Multiple Content Type on each page of the website or at least on each landing page of the website. If I give you an option to Readtt or Listen or Watch this content, you would have more options to consume the content.
Keep in mind that MOBILE is the primary device in which your users would see the website. Thus the website needs to be very light, quick to load and the written content should be visible on the mobile platform.
The design is not how it LOOKS but it’s HOW IT WORKS. By Steve Jobs.
I firmly believe in it that the DESIGN is something to do with HOW IT WOULD BE FUNCTIONED by the USER and not how would it look.
Making it MINIMAL and Easy for users would BY DEFAULT increase the elegance of the LAYOUT
More MINIMAL the graphic elements are used, the MORE exposure you give to the users to consume and understand the content.
UI and UX:
User Interface and User Experience is to do with the Design itself but am making it a sub-point to design here so I could explain things in a better way.
When you know what all information you want to place, you first define how you would do the placement. Meaning which information is to be showcased first and which one should be showcased last. In between the information placement, this becomes the USER INTERFACE. You also define how would the user react to the information and what behavior you want the user to do, which becomes the USER EXPERIENCE.
User Experience is more important as that’s what makes your layout easy to access for your users.
To give you a short example of User Experience: If you hold your mobile RIGHT NOW, (Do that) Mostly, users hold their mobile with their RIGHT HAND. And I guess you too did the same.
When you HOLD YOUR MOBILE, your volume button would be on the right side of the body and lock would either be above the VOLUME button or on top RIGHT SIDE which is the MOST USER-FRIENDLY areas for users to access the buttons quickly.
If these buttons were placed a bit up or down or if they were placed in the totally different location, it would have been tough for users to access the most frequently used buttons on the mobile body.
That’s what the user experience is.
Thus, the best placements of the call to actions and content would help your users feel the ease to access and engage with your web page.
This implies MORE FOCUS on PRODUCT and or SERVICES you offer.
As said before, minimal elements and good UI and UX would give you more space to showcase the products and services that you offer.
Call to action
This is the MAGIC area. The area which converts a user from just being a user to a prospect sale or a sale for your company. Thus, I call it a MAGIC area.
Call to action is a section in the web platform which allows a user to either buy or to drop an inquiry.

Well, that’s all I have to showcase for you to make a bridge in between your content and the customers. I hope you loved the details that I have put there.
